Prayer Pause Player · Last updated 17 August 2026

Prayer Pause Player silences the music at prayer times and brings it back on its own. If something is not working, this page covers the questions that come up most.

Contact Email bodysamir2003new@gmail.com. Please say which phone or tablet you are using, and whether it is Android or iPhone — it is the first thing we would need to ask.

The music does not stop On Android, open Settings in the app and check two things: Exact alarms must be allowed, and the app should be exempt from battery optimisation. Without the first, the pause can arrive minutes late; without the second, the system may freeze the app between prayers.

On iPhone and iPad, leave the app running in the background. You can lock the screen and use other apps, but if you swipe the app away in the app switcher, or restart the device, open it once afterwards. iOS cannot restart an app by itself.

The times do not match my mosque Calculated times often differ from the local mosque by a minute or two. Open a prayer and either shift it, which moves the whole window, or turn on "Set the time myself" and type the exact time your mosque calls.

It silences my whole iPhone On iPhone and iPad it does, and this cannot be avoided: iOS gives no way for one app to pause another, so the app lowers the device volume instead and restores it afterwards. Use a device dedicated to the music rather than a personal phone. On Android the player itself is paused, so nothing else is affected.

The music stopped and never came back Reopen the app. The volume it saved is restored on the next launch. If this happens repeatedly, please email us.

Prayer times will not load The app stores two months of times and works offline. If it cannot load them at all, check the connection and pull down on the main screen to refresh.
