Prayer Pause Player · Last updated 17 August 2026

By using Prayer Pause Player you agree to these terms.

What the app does The app lowers or pauses audio on the device it is installed on, for periods you configure around calculated prayer times. It is a convenience tool for venues.

Prayer times are estimates Prayer times are astronomical calculations provided by AlAdhan and depend on the location, calculation method and school you select. They may differ from your local mosque. The app is not a religious authority. Always defer to your local mosque, and use the manual time and offset settings to match it.

No guarantee of silencing Whether the music actually stops depends on your device's operating system, the media app you use, and system settings outside our control. In particular, iOS does not permit one app to pause another, and both platforms can suspend background apps. The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that any given prayer window will fire.

Your responsibilities You are responsible for setting the venue location and timezone correctly, granting the permissions the app asks for, keeping the device powered and running, and verifying that the app behaves as you expect before relying on it.

Limitation of liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the app, including missed prayer times, unwanted silence, disturbance to customers, or any business impact.

Cost The app is provided free of charge. There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Termination You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
